Energy Harbor Electric Aggregation Program Participants In the coming weeks, residential customers and small businesses participating in the electric aggregation program with Energy Harbor through the Miami Valley Communications Council will receive notices regarding Dynegy’s recent acquisition of Energy Harbor. No action is needed on your part when these notices arrive. There will also be a follow-up letter from your utility notifying you that your contract with Energy Harbor is ending and you are being automatically switched over to Dynegy. West Carrollton, Developer Agree on First Steps of River District Work
WEST CARROLLTON — The planned river district along the Great Miami River took another step toward reality with the recent approval of an agreement between the city of West Carrollton and a developer. Under the agreement between the city and Woodard Development, Woodard is the “contractor at risk” for public improvements such as roads and other infrastructure that will be constructed just west of the Exit 47 interchange on Interstate 75. Community Pride Day – May 21
West Carrollton’s City Beautiful Commission will host its annual neighborhood clean-up, Community Pride Day, on Saturday, May 21. The event begins at 9 a.m. at the Civic Center and runs approximately three hours. All volunteers receive a t-shirt. Volunteers will help West Carrollton residents in need of assistance with outside projects like pulling weeds, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, or small outdoor painting projects. Arbor Day Tree Planting Event – April 29
Children are invited to participate in an Arbor Day Celebration with local leaders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at Wilson Park near the pool entrance. The children will help plant a tree while Mayor Jeff Sanner reads a city proclamation. The mayor and children will be joined by other City Council and City Beautiful Commission members.
