The Great Paint Escape - October A quarterly series for adults 18 and over. Guided painting by professional artist Dina Cain, who has over 30 years’ experience as an artist. Each session we’ll be creating on a different medium with a different theme. Your fee includes: all materials for painting including the medium water, appetizers and sweet treats. Date: Wednesday, October 18th Time: 6 - 8 p.m. Location: Dayton Metro Library - West Carrollton Branch Library Conference Room 300 East Central Ave, West Carrollton Cost: $35 per person/event (Registration required by Oct 16th) Registration is now closed for this event.

Monster Mash continues its traditions with activities that include hayrides, pumpkin decorating, carnival games, and a costume contest. Children get a FREE pumpkin! West Carrollton Lions Club will be selling hot chocolate and cider. Thank you to our sponsors- the City Beautiful Commission and WC Nazarene Church along with volunteers WCHS National Honor Society, the WC Dayton Metro Library Branch and students from the University of Dayton. Trick or Treat will be held on October 31,  6-8 p.m. Each year in West Carrollton. The date is set by the Dayton Area Mayors and Managers Association. Please dress your children accordingly as this event will not be cancelled or date changed due to the weather. Residents who choose to participate should leave front porch lights on. Please use caution when driving in the area.

Boo!!! Time to decorate your home for Halloween. Our City Beautiful Commission will be the judges and the top three houses will receive prizes. Participants must register to eligible. Winners announced Oct. 31st. Date: Register by Friday, Oct 27 Judging: Oct 30th, 8-10pm Leave your lights on! Event registration is now closed.

Sweet Enchanted Evening is this year's theme! Bring your dad, stepdad, uncle, or grandpa to the dance. A special treat, photos, flowers, and light snacks will be provided. You can save money by purchasing tickets early online. This event is recommended for ages 2-12.
